Ribera del Duero
Francisco Barona
After starting small, Francisco Barona now owns 26 hectares of old vines mostly planted between 1908 and 1948. The vineyard is treated with responsibility, trade and passion. The working method is always organic with respect to cosmic rhythms. Neither herbicides nor pesticides are used; the presence of sulfurs and coppers is extremely limited. Wines are always bottled in spring without fining or filtering.
